West LA is the host of many celebrities and nightly entertainment.
Pasadena is against the San Gabriel mountains and is known for it’s historic Old Town area. San Mario and Pasadena were the original LA luxury communites before Beverly Hills. Pasadena also is known for technology with Cal Tech and and NASA Jet Propulsion Labs (JPL) as it’s residents.
Orange County (OC) is known for it’s fine weather and beautiful beaches. Newport Beach is usually associated with OC and is known for it’s yacht harbors, fine dining, shopping, beaches and luxurious lifesytle. Some tech companies roots have come from OC and UC Irvine is becoming known for it’s technology. Irvine is known as the “City of Innovation” and has many Fortune 1,000 companies, including Google, and start-ups.
The Valley hosts celebrities who want more space and a relaxed atmosphere enjoying shopping, golf and dining. There is some technology in the Valley that originated from Rockwell Collins and Teledyne and the defense industry.
